This year we have only have a handful of children signed up to receive gifts at Christmas here in the village of Kake, Alaska, but they are the ones who most need our help! They especially need coats and warm gloves and socks, as it's predicted to be a harsh winter.
Here's how you can help:
1. Adopt one or more Angels! When you adopt an Angel, you get his/her wish list and clothing sizes so you can shop especially for your Angel!
2. Purchase one or more gifts from the combined Wish List (click here).
3. Purchase one or more gifts from our Walmart Registry for Good.
4. Send us a check, or donate to our Virtual Red Kettle, either through the WHITE button above or where the cute kids are ringing the bell below. This will not only help Kake families at Christmas, but all through the year. (Note: using the RED donate button at the top will go to your local Salvation Army based on your zip code)

Shipping Hints!
UPS or USPS Priority work best for Kake. Anything else can take ages to get here.
Shop online and have it sent directly to us! SHOP EARLY! It can take up to 3-4 weeks for mail to get here in winter, depending on weather conditions.
Use the smallest boxes possible for your gifts, but don't be afraid to buy one of the big items - Alaska Seaplanes are pros at getting items here. They deliver everything from pizzas to bikes!
